The bbe Algae Lab Analyser offers:

Features of chlorophyll analysis:
  • Quick chlorophyll determination with the bbe Algae Lab Analyser replaces the wet-chemical analysis. Different coloured LEDs assure that the algae classes are assessed correctly in their chlorophyll content.

  • Determination of spectral algae classes: The pigments of different algae are determined by using individual coloured LEDs (included fluorescence spectrometer). This enables the calculation of the distribution of chlorophyll from the spectral algae classes to the total chlorophyll content of the sample water.

  • The transmission is measured.

  • The activity of the algae is determined according to Genty (option). The calculation of fluorescence signals f0, f, fm are used for the photosynthetic activity. The measurements are correlated to the photosynthetic oxygen evolution.
