SPECTRON
(PO4, Yellow)
SPECTRON (PO4 yellow) is a spectrophotometric analyser
for quasi continuous measurement of phosphate in wastewater. The
specific reagent is added, which forms an intense yellow complex
with phosphate with concentration dependent absorbance between 380
and 480 nm.
The analyser is equipped with a diode array spectrophotometer that
operates from 380 to 780 nm, and automatically calibrates itself
daily using two standards
|
|
How
it works: The bypass is the fast feed loop to the analyser.
The peristaltic pump transfers a portion of the sample to the measuring
cell, where it is mixed with reagents delivered by the reagent pumps.
As the sample and reagent streams mix, they form the yellow colour
complex, which is analysed between 380 and 480 nm.

SPECTRON
(PO4, Green)
SPECTRON (PO4 green) is a spectrophotometric analyser for quasi continuous
measurement of phosphate in wastewater having yellow coloured interferences.
Specific reagents are added, which form an intense blue-green complex
with phosphorus with concentration dependent absorbance between 600
and 730 nm.
The analyser is equipped with a diode array spectrophotometer that
operates from 380 to 780 nm, and automatically calibrates itself daily
using two standards. |

Note: Yellow colouration of the sample, for example by humic
acids, does not interfere. Silicate has no effect on measurement
accuracy. The instrument operates in the range of trace analysis.

SPECTRON
(Ptotal)
SPECTRON (Ptotal) is a spectrophotometric analyser for quasi continuous
measurement of phosphorus in wastewater. The sample is thermally
digested. Then specific reagents are added, which form an intense
yellow complex with phosphorus with concentration dependent absorbance
between 380 and 480 nm.
The analyser is equipped with a diode array spectrophotometer that
operates from 380 to 780 nm, and automatically calibrates itself daily
using two standards. |

SPECTRON
(NO3)
SPECTRON (NO3) is a spectro photometric analyser for quasi continuous
measurement of nitrate in wastewater. A specific reagent is added,
which forms an intense yellow complex with nitrate with concentration
dependent absorbance between 380 and 500 nm.
The analyser is equipped with a diode array spectrophotometer that
operates from 380 to 780 nm, and automatically calibrates itself daily
using two standards. |

SPECTRON
(PO4/NO3)
SPECTRON (PO4 /NO3) is an on-line analyser for simultaneous measurement
of phosphate and nitrate in wastewater.
Phosphate measurement is quasicontinuous and performed photometrically,
while the nitrate measurement is ion selective and continuous.
The analyser automatically calibrates itself daily using two standards. |
How
it works: The bypass is the fast feed loop to the analyzer. The
peristaltic pump transfers a portion of the sample to the measuring
cell. The reagent pumps feed reagents to the measuring cells. In the
PO4 measuring cell an intense yellow complex is formed, which is analysed
photometrically between 380 and 500 nm. In the NO3 measuring cell
the ionic strength is adjusted and the nitrate concentration is measured
by an ion-selective electrode.

SPECTRON
(PO4/NH4)
SPECTRON (PO4/NH4) is an on-line analyser for simultaneous measurement
of phosphate and ammonium in wastewater.
Phosphate measurement is quasi-continuous and performed photo-metrically,
while the ammonium measurement is gas selective and continuous. The
analyzer automatically calibrates itself daily using two standards. |
How
it works: The bypass is the fast feed loop to the analyzer. The
peristaltic pump transfers a portion of the sample to the measuring
cell. The reagent pumps feed reagents to the measuring cells. In the
PO4 measuring cell an intense yellow complex is formed, which is analysed
photometrically between 380 and 500 nm. In the NH4 measuring cell
the pH is adjusted to 11, and the ammonium concentration is measured
as ammonia.

SPECTRON
(NO3/NH4)
SPECTRON (NO3/NH4 ) is a spectrophotometric analyser for simultaneous
measurement of nitrate and ammonium in wastewater.
Nitrate measurement is quasi continuous and performed photometrically,
while the ammonium measurement is gas selective and continuous.
The analyzer automatically calibrates itself daily using two standards.

SPECTRON
(S)
SPECTRON (S) is a spectrophotometric on-line analyser that can be
adapted for user specified applications. The analyser incorporates
a diode array spectrophotometer for measurement at wavelengths from
380 to 780 mm. Measurement is quasicontinuous.
SPECTRON (S) can be equipped per user choice with one or two reagent
pumps, and with different configurations to measure for example nitrite,
cobalt, or phenol. The technical data include description and
data for the nitrite parameter. The analyser automatically calibrates
itself daily using two standards. |
| How
it works: Taking NO2 measurement as an example: the bypass
is the fast feed loop to the analyser. The peristaltic pump
transfers a portion of the sample to the measuring cell. The reagent
pumps feed reagents to the measuring cells. A purple complex
is formed, which is analysed photometrically between 500 and 600 nm. |
