EZTOC LOW TEMP UV TOC ANALYSER..
online UV TOC analysis

The Isco EZ TOC uses low-temperature UV-promoted, persulfate oxidation to convert organic carbon compounds to CO2, which is then measured using a non-dispersive infrared detector to determine the total organic carbon. Sample is drawn into the EZ TOC by the source pump, and continuously sampled by a feed pump to a scrubbing column, where dilute phosphoric acid converts inorganic carbon compounds to CO2 which is removed by sparging.

The scrubbed sample is pumped to the UV reactor where organic carbon compounds are oxidized to CO2 by interaction of the sample with the UV light, carrier gas, and concentrated persulfate. The CO2 is dried and measured by a non-dispersive infrared detector (NDIR), and the value converted to TOC in mg/L.

Up to eight programmable relays can provide a remote indication of system operation and report trouble conditions. A fail-safe shutdown feature prevents damage in case of a malfunction. Manual inhibit buttons let you disable alarms, hold an analog output at the current reading, or bypass scheduled cleaning and calibrations.

In addition to being a continuous on-line process analyzer, the EZ TOC allows you to conveniently measure grab samples using the Manual SampleValve.

Standard Features
  • Analysis method complies with USEPA, ASTM, ISO and CEN standards for TOC determination.
  • Flexible four-motor pump system. Advanced hydraulics allow for unlimited number of ranges between 10 mg/l and 10,000 mg/l TOC.
  • Four separate, programmable form Type C relays can be activated on up to 18 parameters monitored, including two alarm levels, loss of sample or gas flow, leak detection and more.
  • User-selectable and scalable 4-20 mA or 0-20 mA output.
  • RS-232 digital output.
  • Large, backlit display makes it easy to check operating status in low light conditions without opening the door.
  • Built-in reagent timer alerts the operator of upcoming chemical requirements.
  • Programmable, automatic cleaning and calibration cycles provide accurate, low-maintenance operation.
  • High efficiency single-lamp UV reactor reduces costs and provides positive indication of lamp failure, instead of producing inaccurate data as occurs when a lamp fails in a multi-lamp system.
  • Enhanced NDIR detector uses the same infrared sources and detectors for the sample and reference cells, providing a stable, low-noise CO2 detection.
Applications
  • Increase the efficiency of water/wastewater treatment to reduce process costs in both industrial and municipal applications.
  • Provide warning of organic spills, to protect expensive processes and equipment in addition to monitoring for regulatory compliance.

Options and Accessories
  • PA2 or PA3 Sample Filter - Required where sample contains particles larger than 200 microns.
  • Isco Carrier Gas Converter - cleans and reduces the CO2 content of compressed air. This accessory must be installed in the air supply line when on-site compressed air is used.
  • Extra relay board. Adds four additional Type C relay outputs to the four standard relays.
  • High-TIC and ultra-high TIC removal kits for applications where TIC levels exceed maximum expected TOC level.
