QUICKSCAN Reduces cost & is simpler to use
Quickscan is a recent addition to the "stable"
of respirometers from Challenge Technology and now forms
part of Envitechs RespSys range of products.
The Quick Scan is designed to meet the needs of treatment
plant operators desiring fast, easy screening of wastewater
samples. It utilises digital technology, combined with
a "dry" system of low gas flow measurement,
instead of bubble counting, which results in a lower cost
device, simpler to set up and use, whilst retaining extremely
high resolution and accuracy. The lower cost also makes
it attractive to those with limited budgets such as academic
faculties.

The
NEW ToxSys_DAPHTOXII represents a complete makeover of the
previously successful Daphtox, which uses Daphnia and their
swimming characteristics to detect toxins. All of the previously
difficult to maintain items have either been removed or redesigned.
This instrument is now probably the most sensitive and sophisticated
equipment available for on-line protection of water abstraction
and network distribution.The bbe Daphnia Toximeter has been
deployed worldwide now for over 10 years and is well suited
to detect wilful (terrorist attacks) or negligent incidents
(spills, accidents) as well as long-term monitoring for the
"strategic" evaluation of water quality and hazard
management. |
This
system measures oxygen uptake, BODst and SOUR for aerobic
reactions and gas production in anaerobic reactions. All
of the data is stored via the included laptop computer
with preloaded monitoring and graphing software. Also
included is the Challenge Technology 4-position stirring
unit for reliable high speed stirring.
The unit may also be used with the soil/compost vessels
for work on ground remediation or compost stability
